Harris CapRock Provides Dedicated Team to Support Fort Buckners’ Teleport Operations

Since 2003, as part of the systems integration and professional services capabilities, the government team at Harris CapRock has provided all facets of operations and maintenance (O&M) support to the U.S. Army’s Fort Buckner and Torii Station teleport in Okinawa, Japan. The Okinawa teleports serve as the gateway for deployed military groups in the Pacific and Indian Ocean theaters.

Requirements:
- O&M; of the Fort Buckner DSCS, EHF, UHF, and the C and Ku-band systems at Torii Station
- O&M; of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE)
- 24/7 shift operations
- Support of satellite terminal equipment
- Training for both contractor and government personnel
- Cleared personnel
