As President, Mr. Eaton is responsible for implementing Harris CapRock’s strategic goals and objectives and driving the growth of its core business. Prior to this role, he served as Global Operations Officer, where he was responsible for all aspects of service delivery on a global basis and for ensuring the highest quality customer experience.
Before that role, he also served as President of the company’s Government Solutions business for three years. Mr. Eaton has previously held various leadership roles within the international satellite, government, and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining CapRock, he was appointed to create and became President of G2 Satellite Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PanAmSat, providing communications solutions to the U.S. and other governments; and he held the position of EVP of PanAmSat’s global sales and marketing. Preceding PanAmSat, Mr. Eaton headed Intelsat's global sales and customer support organization. Mr. Eaton was also a co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Integrated Network Services, Inc. and Director of Marketing for Sprint Communication Corp.'s Video Services Division. Mr. Eaton holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia.
As Harris CapRock’s Global Commercial Officer, David Myers is responsible for driving the sales performance and practices across all three vertical markets, as well as the development of the business’ sales operations, sales engineering, product management, and marketing functions on a global basis.
Previously, Mr. Myers served as Harris CapRock’s President of Government Solutions where he oversaw the direction and growth of the government business. With broad experience across both business and technical roles, Mr. Myers has been responsible for the launch of several ground-breaking products in the satellite communications industry. While managing the government team, he led the development of CommandAccess™, the industry’s first military-grade satellite subscription service, incorporating commercial X-band satellites. During his tenure at Spacenet Inc., where he served as SVP of Marketing & Corporate Development, Mr. Myers launched a number of product lines including Connexstar™, a first-of-its-kind, "off-the-shelf” broadband satellite service exclusively for enterprise clients. He also led the development of Spacenet’s first nationwide, carrier-class VoIP telephone service, as well as the ION™ series of ruggedized, rapidly deployable satellite equipment systems.
Mr. Myers holds an MBA in Technology Marketing from Rice University, a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Madison University and undergraduate degrees in business and international relations from Southern Methodist University.
As Global Operations Officer, Andrew Lucas is responsible for overseeing the operation and deployment of the business’ global satellite and terrestrial network infrastructure. He plays a key role in leading Harris CapRock’s global network operations, customer support centers, field services, and regional operations internationally. Prior to this, he served as Business Manager for Schlumberger Global Connectivity Services (GCS) until its acquisition by Harris Corporation in 2011. While with GCS, Mr. Lucas was instrumental in driving the business forward, delivering increased revenue, profitability and service quality through focus on business efficiency, method and structure. Mr. Lucas has also held multiple positions with Data Marine Systems. Mr. Lucas has over 20 years experience in the satellite communications industry with significant focus on technical and operational capabilities.
As Vice President of Finance for Harris CapRock, Jason Juranek serves as the organization’s financial leader, responsible for managing all facets of financial operations including effective business processes and financial structure. Mr. Juranek oversees accounting records and financial reports, internal control programs, tax and treasury requirements, and internal and external audits.
Prior to this position, Mr. Juranek served as the Strategic Growth Officer at Harris CapRock, and as Vice President of Finance and Treasury for the organization’s government solutions business. In his new role Mr. Juranek will continue to oversee strategic growth for Harris CapRock, leading the business’s growth initiatives and guiding emerging business initiatives. He has also held senior leadership roles with Vangent, Inc, General Dynamics, DynCorp and Fairchild Fasteners.
Mr. Juranek earned his Executive MBA from George Washington University in Washington, DC and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and MS in Accounting.
As Vice President and General Counsel, Alan Aronowitz serves as Harris CapRock's corporate compliance officer responsible for all legal matters involving the company.
Mr. Aronowitz most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of a global business unit of a multinational diversified energy services company, headquartered in Houston, where he was responsible for all legal matters, with particular emphasis on international, corporate and commercial transactions. Additionally, Mr. Aronowitz has served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston and as an attorney for Locke Liddell Sapp LLP, a law firm with over 400 attorneys, where he specialized in real estate, corporate, banking, and commercial finance transactions.
Mr. Aronowitz received his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the University of Houston Law Center and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Aronowitz is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Paul McMurtry serves as Director of Global Business Integration for Harris CapRock. In this role, he is responsible for managing the Project Management Office (PMO), which oversees a portfolio of global integration initiatives that span the entire organization. These initiatives are designed to increase Harris CapRock’s competitiveness in the marketplace by leveraging people, processes, and technology to improve operating efficiencies and to position Harris CapRock for future growth. Mr. McMurtry has a diverse background in the satellite, semiconductor, optics, and government sectors with over a decade of experience serving in both business and technical disciplines.
Mr. McMurtry most recently served as Harris CapRock’s Director of Global Sales Operations & Business Intelligence, where he was responsible for managing a global team of Sales Operations Coordinators and led the implementation of Siebel Sales, the organization’s new customer relationship management system. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Business Intelligence & Strategic Planning where he conducted extensive market research and analysis, managed the strategic planning process, and led integration efforts of a key acquisition. Prior to joining Harris CapRock, Mr. McMurtry served as Business Development Manager for Spacenet Inc., one of the satellite industry's largest service providers for Fortune 1000 enterprises.
Mr. McMurtry holds an MBA with a concentration in the Management of Science, Technology, and Innovation from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Marian Cacciatore serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Harris CapRock. In this role, Ms. Cacciatore is responsible for leading the global Human Resources team as well as all aspects of the organization’s integrated talent management program, including talent acquisition and planning, leadership development, training, performance management and career planning, and employee relations.
Ms. Cacciatore has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Previously, she held roles of increasing leadership and responsibility within Harris’ Government Communications Systems business. Prior to joining Harris, Marian gained extensive Human Resources and operational experience in a variety of industries, including financial services, utilities, philanthropy and higher education.
Ms. Cacciatore holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a MA in Human Resources from Rollins College. She also achieved her Master Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation upon completing the Executive Coaching Program at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Keith Johnson serves as President of Global Energy Solutions where he is responsible for leading the strategy, growth and direction of the business’ Energy team. Prior to its acquisition by Harris Corporation, Mr. Johnson served as CapRock Communications’ Senior Vice President of Global Customer Support and as Vice President of Global Corporate Development.
Mr. Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining CapRock, Mr. Johnson founded and served as President for Transworld Telecom Systems Inc., a company focused on providing systems integration projects to the energy, telecommunication, and government markets. After much success, CapRock acquired Transworld Telecom and as a result Mr. Johnson served as CapRock's General Manager of Systems Integration. Mr. Johnson also held the positions of Executive Vice President for CapRock, where he was responsible for providing strategic planning, sales, and direction for the company and additionally served on the Board of Directors during its IPO launch on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.
Mr. Johnson attended Texas A&M; University and Houston Baptist University, and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marketing and Business Management.
Richard Simonian is President of the Maritime Solutions business unit within Harris CapRock. His group specializes in managed communication systems and services for the global commercial maritime community and provides deep-ocean buoy communication systems and subsea engineering. He has driven numerous acquisition activities to grow the managed satellite services market for Harris.
Mr. Simonian was previously responsible for pursuit and program execution for the Department of Homeland Security and other Civil agencies with emphasis on the US Coast Guard. Mr. Simonian also served as Vice President of Engineering at Harris, overseeing 1000 system, software, and support engineers. His business area provided U.S. Government agencies with large, complex communication and information processing systems for various uses. He led the achievement of SEI CMM Level 4 within the Division. He has extensive background in program management and engineering processes, research and development planning, and management of information technology advances.
A Harris employee since 1985, Mr. Simonian has held various positions of increasing responsibility in program management, systems engineering, software engineering, engineering processes, and executive management. Mr. Simonian holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida College of Engineering and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Ohio State University.
As President of Government Solutions, David Cavossa oversees the direction and growth of the business, which focuses exclusively on serving military and federal civilian agencies. Mr. Cavossa oversees all government sales, business development, strategic planning, and space segment management, and is also responsible for leading all customer program teams and coordinating government affairs activities. With over a decade in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Cavossa has extensive experience supporting the government community in both the public and private sectors.
Previously, Mr. Cavossa spent six years at the Satellite Industry Association (SIA), where he led the organization as executive director. During his tenure at SIA, Mr. Cavossa was the chief advocate for the commercial satellite industry and responsible for coordinating education, outreach, regulatory and legislative strategies on a broad range of issues, including; homeland security, defense, trade, export controls, space transportation, broadband, and the protection, planning, and acquisition of commercial SATCOM by the U.S. Government. Mr. Cavossa now serves on SIA's Board of Directors and is a past chairman. As one of the satellite industry's leaders, he focused the efforts of the association on educating the public, the press, policy-makers, and government on the critical role satellites play in our national, economic, and homeland security. Before joining SIA, Mr. Cavossa worked at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, in the offices of external relations and legislative affairs.
Mr. Cavossa holds a master's degree in science, technology and public policy from The George Washington University Space Policy Institute as a Space Policy Fellow. He also holds a bachelor's degree in physics, astronomy and political science from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
