Harris CapRock – New Name, New Opportunities, New Resources Representing the Business we are Building
You’ve probably already seen our new brand taking shape. The CapRock name in our new logo represents our track record in commercial and government markets and our continued dedication to the customers we’ve been supporting for the past three decades. The Harris name in the logo represents the access to resources, engineering capabilities and financial stability of being part of a $6 billion company. The most exciting thing about Harris CapRock is that our logo not only represents a new name – it is a symbol of what we have built and will continue building.
Harris CapRock pulls together the capabilities and technologies of legacy CapRock, Schlumberger’s Global Connectivity Services business, Harris Maritime Communication Services, and Core 180’s terrestrial infrastructure. Combining these four industry leading businesses within the satellite and terrestrial communications sectors positions us as the largest single provider of communications developed from the ground up for hard-to-reach locations.
We have been and will continue to be exclusively focused on serving customers in extreme, remote environments. While all of Harris CapRock’s customers share the common need for reliable services in isolated locations, the three main customer segments we serve – energy, government and maritime – also have unique, industry specific requirements. We will continue to have dedicated teams for each of these markets with industry veterans focused on how Harris CapRock can be a partner truly invested in customers’ business and mission success.
Along with its size, corporate experience, and financial stability, we also benefit from Harris’ robust market resources and leveraged buying power, enabling our team to provide improved capabilities and better service to our customers. As a division of Harris, we have the opportunity to bring customers the innovation, best practices and solutions from other industries Harris serves that also operate in remote environments. The opportunities span such areas as military-grade and ruggedized equipment, highly secure networking services and custom developed solutions.
