Laying the groundwork for greater innovation

To further accelerate this ongoing effort, we recently made some changes to the organizational structure of the front-end of Harris CapRock. We repositioned some of the most innovative thinkers in our organization to ensure that we deliver the most advanced, tailored solutions to our customers in the government, energy and maritime markets.
We’re excited to share that David Myers has taken on the new role of Global Commercial Officer. In this position, David will be focused on advancing our overall product and service portfolio, as well improving sales performance and operations, sales engineering, product management and marketing functions across all three vertical markets and on a global basis. This new structure will allow us to be more sales-focused and nimble in the markets we serve, while benefiting from the improvements that come from standardization of sales practices and product offerings.
With a strong background in introducing new products to the market, David has held a number of senior level roles at Harris CapRock. Most recently he served as President of the Government Solutions business unit where he drove the successful development and launch of a new product portfolio, based on specific input from the customer community. Previously he served as Vice President of Marketing & Product Management for the Energy and Maritime markets, where he introduced a standardized series new products and value-added services, as well as oversaw sales engineering for the development of custom tailored solutions.
David will work closely with Keith Johnson, President, Energy Solutions, Rick Simonian, President, Maritime Solutions, and David Cavossa, President for Government Solutions, as they serve as the executive face to their respective markets and customers. With the front-end of our business operating as unified global sales and marketing team, we’ll be better positioned to leverage best practices and growth opportunities, and to build a well-defined product portfolio to help customers achieve their mission objectives.
Our customers already benefit from a broad array of complete end-to-end communications solutions that include hardened remote terminal equipment, high-bandwidth satellite and terrestrial communications, managed network services and global field support. Moving forward, this new structure will help position Harris CapRock to take new products to market even faster and to serve customers better than ever before.
